Whether your dancer is taking their very first class or continuing their dance journey, we're honored you're considering Kindred Dance Works. Our mission is to provide a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer can build confidence, develop new skills, and discover a lifelong love of dance. We believe every child deserves to feel supported, challenged, and celebrated both in and out of the studio.

1.Find your Dancer’s Age Group
Our classes are organized by age to create a fun, supportive learning environment where dancers can grow alongside their peers.
Age Groups
Essential Movement: Ages 2–3
Tiny Tot: Ages 3–5
Petite: Ages 5–8
Junior: Ages 9–12
Senior: Ages 13 & Up
Ages are recommended based on your dancer's age as of September 1. Instructor placement may be adjusted to ensure each dancer is in the class that best supports their growth and development.
2.Explore Class Styles
Every dancer has their own interests and goals! Browse the class styles below to discover what each class offers and find the best fit for your dancer.
Essential Movement :
A playful introduction to movement for our youngest dancers. This class develops coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence through music, movement, and imaginative play.
Ballet:
The foundation of all dance styles. Ballet teaches proper technique, posture, flexibility, strength, balance, and grace while building strong technical skills.
Tap:
A rhythmic style of dance that focuses on musicality, timing, and coordination. Dancers create sounds with their shoes while developing rhythm and precision.
Jazz:
An energetic style featuring upbeat music, jumps, turns, and expressive choreography. Jazz builds strength, flexibility, confidence, and performance skills.
Lyrical:
A beautiful blend of ballet and jazz that emphasizes emotion, storytelling, and musical expression through fluid movement.
Contemporary:
A creative dance style that combines elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. Contemporary encourages artistic expression while developing strength, flexibility, and versatility.
Acro:
A combination of dance and tumbling that teaches flexibility, balance, strength, and safe acrobatic progressions. No prior gymnastics experience is required.
Hip Hop:
A high-energy class that focuses on current styles of movement, musicality, coordination, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment.
Cheer Skills:
Perfect for dancers interested in school cheer or simply learning cheer fundamentals. Classes focus on motions, jumps, basic stunts, flexibility, and performance skills.
Musical Theatre:
A fun combination of dance, acting, and storytelling inspired by Broadway-style performances. Great for dancers who enjoy performing and expressing themselves on stage.
Pointe:
An advanced ballet class for experienced dancers who have developed the strength and technique necessary for pointe work. Instructor approval is required.

3.Choose Your Tuition Package
Tuition is offered in convenient 4-week sessions, making it easy for families to join throughout the season. While tuition is billed every four weeks, classes continue to build on the skills learned in previous sessions, so we encourage dancers to stay enrolled for the best learning experience and steady progress.
Our annual payment schedule, including session dates and tuition due dates, can be found on the Studio Calendar.
Once you've chosen your classes, simply select the tuition package that matches the number of classes your dancer will attend each week. During checkout, you'll be prompted to list the specific classes you'd like to enroll in.
