Company Program

The Kindred Dance Works Company Program is designed for dancers who are passionate about dance and ready to take their training to the next level. Company members receive additional performance opportunities, develop strong technical foundations, and learn the value of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship in a positive and encouraging environment.

Our goal is to help dancers grow not only as performers, but also as confident, disciplined, and well-rounded individuals.

Performance Opportunities

Company dancers represent Kindred Dance Works throughout the community and beyond. Depending on the season, opportunities may include:

• Local community events and festivals

• Holiday performances

• Community outreach events

• Studio showcases

• Regional dance competitions

• Special performance invitations

Participation in performances and competitions helps dancers gain valuable stage experience, build confidence, and create lasting friendships.

Company Expectations

Company members are expected to demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and a positive attitude both inside and outside the studio.

Additional classes such as Lyrical, Musical Theater, Acro, and Ballet 2/Pointe are encouraged to help dancers continue developing their versatility and technique.

Auditions

Company placement is determined through an audition process. Auditions are designed to evaluate each dancer's technical skills, performance quality, work ethic, coachability, and readiness for the program.

Placement is based on overall readiness rather than age alone to ensure every dancer is challenged while continuing to grow in a supportive environment.
